My biggest sewing challenge is that I was sitting so much that I started having pains in my leg. So now I can’t sit as much and therefore can’t sew as much as I can’t figure out how to sew standing up.

When I first started I made two angel bunnies. The way I understood the directions for the wings made no since.

I never did figure out how the instructions worked. I made my own version of the wings. That was over 30 years ago.

I still have the pattern. Every time I see it I remember how hard it was.

I never made the angels again. How ever I have made several 30” bunnies and have 11 to go. :)

My biggest challenge is sewing again with arthritis in my hands and knuckles. I love sewing and always made doll clothes for my daughter growing up. I would even make her & her doll matching outfits. But now, fast forward 30 years & I have moderate to severe arthritis in my hands & the pain makes it difficult to do any crafts. I have a nearly 5 year old granddaughter who just got her first AG doll (a 14" Welliwisher) and this Grandma is going to have to make it a wardrobe for her birthday in March. I may be able to knit it a sweater too…wish me luck.

My biggest challenge…Five granddaughters with 18" dolls who also got 14" dolls for Christmas this year! It is made somewhat easier by cutting out five items from the same pattern at a time and assembly-line sewing. I also try to use fabrics that can use the same color thread and wind multiple bobbins before I start.

Crochet is hard to learn a new pattern I use to do just granny squares. Now I’m trying different patterns WHAT A CHALLENGE THAT CAN BE.
